Tony Blair's Big Conversation with the great british public moved to a mobile chat room to answer questions yesterday. While many of the answers were predictable and bland: Was war in Iraq necessary? - "Yes I believe it was" we did find out that, as would befit a marriage between two lawyers, that terms and conditions applied to his marriage!
O2 and its partner Freever held the first ever interactive chat room on mobiles with a UK Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Tony Blair MP. In a 45 minute event transmitted live from 10 Downing Street on O2’s mobile phone portal O2 Active, Mr Blair answered questions that had been submitted in advance by text message and on-line at O2 Active. He also answered questions, which were asked live in the chat room.
