1.7 million German children younger than 13 years have a mobile phone, 6 percent more than last year, according to the KidsVerbraucherAnalyse 2005 of German publisher Egmont Ehapa. In the age group 10-13 years 1.52 million children have a mobile phone. 26 percent of the children use the phone for free, because their parents pay everything, the rest of the children spent an average of EUR 11.50 per month of their pocket money on mobile phones.
